Yoga Services

Practicing yoga can help promote restoration, rejuvenation, and reflection for a full mind, body, and soul connection.

Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in ancient India around 400 C.E. The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj, meaning  “to unite”. The practice aims to create union between body, mind and spirit, as well as between the individual self and universal consciousness. Such a union tends to neutralize ego-driven thoughts and behaviors, creating a sense of spiritual awakening. -Yogapedia

The relaxation techniques incorporated in yoga can lessen chronic pain, Regular yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; centers attention; and sharpens concentration. -Natalie Nevins, DO, American Osteopathic Association
